Mario Kart World — Nintendo Direct

Today, Nintendo announced more information about Mario Kart World during the Nintendo Direct, including new characters, new courses, and a bunch of other cool things! We can’t wait to play Mario Kart World, so we decided to make our Top 5 list of new features we’re most excited to try We’re sure this game will stay on our Switch 2 for a long time!

1. Open World

At the launch of the Switch 2, we felt the absence of a Mario series game was a serious problem and had mixed feelings. Yes, we love Mario Kart—but not as a launch title for our new Switch 2. However, Nintendo has changed our minds with all the content revealed for Mario Kart World. The world of Mario Kart looks vibrant and alive, with tons of things to do: no restrictions, online mode, free exploration, a huge map with 9 biomes, day and night races—so much great stuff to spend hours enjoying on our new Switch 2.

2. Ride Rails

This new feature looks really fun and challenging, drifting to boost around curves while riding on rails make us dream abouy how it will feel in our hands with the controller.

Golden Shell, Ice Flower, Hammer these three items seem awsome! Coins increase your speed, Ice Flowers freeze your opponents, an my personal favorite, the Hammer, can be used to block the road road or smash your the oponents.

4. New tricks — “Charge Jump”

Now you’ll be able to ‘charge a jump’ by holding the drift button for a few seconds. The possibilities this new trick open up are unimaginable — jump to ride a rails, jump to dodge rival attacks, or even jump to ride a wall for a few seconds. Wth this new mechanic Mario Kart World looks more dynamic and fun than ever.

5. Camera play

We love playing with our friends, and now having the ability to see their faces while racing in Mario Kart World will sounds absolutely amazing, We understand the video quality might no be the best, but if Switch 2 can handle video chat while maintaininig the game’s FPS, we’ll definitely love it!

Mario Kart World looks fantastic!, remeber it will be launch the same day as the Switch 2. You can purchase an individual the game individually (physical version) or get the Mario Kart World — Switch 2 bundle, which includes a digital copy.
